Lagu yang ditulis oleh Luc Reynaud dan ianya mengenai hak-hak kebebasan yang dimiliki oleh manusia. Penyanyi lagu ini Jason Mraz, menyatakan lagu ini merupakan satu pendapatnya yang menolak sebarang bentuk perhambaan dan penindasan yang semakin berleluasa. Dia juga percaya bahawa lagu ini dapat memupuk semangat kemanusiaan para pendengar.
Dia menyanyikan lagu ini buat kanak-kanak di sekolah dimana kanak-kanak tersebut pernah dijadikan hamba. Selain itu, lagu ini juga adalah mengenai penolakan terhadap penyeludupan manusia serta berkaitan tentang hak kesemarataan.
Dalam Perlembagaan Persekutuan sendiri banyak menyatakan tentang Hak Kebebasan terutama dalam Artikel 1 hingga 11. Hak kebebasan merupakan hak manusia dan manusia lain tidak sepatutnya menindas golongan yang lebih lemah. Lagu ini memang menepati tema Kebebasan yang ingin diutarakan. Sebagaimana yang kita tahu, kebebasan adalah sesuatu yang perlu diperjuangkan dalam dunia serba moden sebegini kerana sesetengah pihak selalu mengeksploitasi orang lain terutama kanak-kanak.
Di negara-negara besar dan membangun kebiasaanya menjadikan kanak-kanak sebagai hamba,lebih teruk lagi menjadikan mereka hamba seks. Ini amatlah melampau, hak mereka berterusan ditindas oleh golongan yang tidak berhati perut ini. Jadi, lagu ini boleh dijadikan sebagai pemangkin semangat mangsa yang ditindas haknya dan juga untuk kita agar jangan sesekali menindas hak orang lain serta kita sepatutnya membantu mereka yang dalam kesusahan bukannya mengambil kesempatan atas kesusahan orang lain.
